Background
Change ringing – the ringing of tuned bells in church towers – is an especially English art, dating back to the c17.
It is a great way of making friends of all ages, with benefits for physical and mental health – as well as producing a lovely sound.
The Bells of St Clement’s
We have a brand new ring of 6 bells which we will be using to promote and teach the art of change ringing to anyone who wishes to find out more. “The Bells of St Clement’s” are open to the public every weekday afternoon to inform, demonstrate and teach.
